NIGERIAN Union of Teachers, (NUT) has opposed the handover of primary school teachers salaries, to local government council. Ebonyi State NUT Chairman, Simon Ozo, gave the notice yesterday in Abakaliki in a meeting with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, focusing on that, "we know the abundances of our neighborhood government chairmen and their affiliation, they won't audit the teachers, they would marry new wifes, build new houses, purchase new vehicles and deal with their lady partners instead of pay our pay teachers salaries.''
